Pre-written Funeral
or Memorial Ceremonies

Imagine pre-selecting the details of your own future ceremony, including your chosen music, photos and personal, heartfelt farewell statements to family and friends...

Rather than leaving the many choices and tasks to family members after you pass away, you can now engage Carolyn to hand-craft your very own farewell ceremony just as you want it to be.

Completed with thorough consultation, a copy provided to you (and a sealed copy provided to your Next of Kin for confidentiality), every detail is covered, as per your wishes.

Fuss-free and perfectly accurate, your ceremony will be a beautiful farewell and an expression of love and gratitude from you to the ones who love you the most...

Personalised and perfect

Your own ceremony can be planned and designed by the person who knows you best - YOU!

Pre-deciding your ceremony wording can be a great feeling. You get to tell your story the way you would like it to be heard.

Recording your preferred ceremony inclusions (for example music, slideshow photos, flowers, type of ceremony, location, even refreshments and activities after the ceremony) is a generous way to remove the stress of making these decisions by your family after you've passed.

Packages begin at only $395.

The Process

1. Reach out: Simply reach out to Carolyn to sign up for a Pre-written Ceremony Package and schedule a time for your initial interview.

2. Interview: Sit with Carolyn for your interview. She will lead you through a series of easily answered questions about you and your life - which will help her to write your ceremony. She will also take you through example ceremony inclusions so you can select your preferences.

If you wish to include personal messages or acknowledgements to your loved ones, Carolyn can either include these in the ceremony, or separately in your pack.

These may be a beautiful way to leave a positive last message that will be extremely comforting for your closest family and friends.

Just so you know, Carolyn is warm and encouraging and the interview experience is gentle, cathartic and pleasant. No pressure or stress.

3. Editing and Approval of Ceremony: Receive your documents to read through and check over (any edits happen at this stage). Once you are perfectly happy, Carolyn will provide a copy for you and a sealed one to give to your Next of Kin or Lawyer to store for the time being if you wish.

4. In the future: One day, when you pass away, Carolyn may be able to conduct your ceremony if that is your preference. Her details will be included in your documents with instructions on how to contact her to make arrangements.

1

Follow the steps for the Pre-written ceremony...

The steps for planning the ceremony, music and slideshow are the same as for the pre-written ceremony (see above).

Carolyn will sit with you to plan and write your story, the way you'd like it to be told.

We'll also discuss tributes by family members and if/how you'd like these to feature in the ceremony.

2

Make arrangements
for the event...

Choose your date, time and venue for the Living Wake, Celebration of Life or Living Funeral.

Arrange invitations and catering if needed. Choose something lovely to wear (there will be many photos on the day!)

Consider whether you'd like to supply stationary (booklets or bookmarks) and/or a thank-you gift for guests.

3

Enjoy the day
with everyone you love...

Remember, this day is for you and your loved ones to take time to celebrate your life and your role in the lives of your favourite people.

It is also a celebration and a moment you will all remember forever. Your presence, and their opportunity to celebrate you is the greatest gift you can give them, so sit back and bathe in the love... you deserve every moment of it!
